Toilet training is an essential part of every child’s developmental years. As the child grows up it becomes necessary for parents to impart skills related to toilet training. It can be an interesting as well as a stressful exercise. Therefore some daily tips to early potty training can be useful for parents and children. Early potty training is generally different from that of an infant or toddler. It is basically dependent on the understanding shared by the mother and the child. It is necessary for the mother to understand when the child wishes to go to the toilet and accordingly she must develop the habit in her little one.
Some of the tips to early potty training that can be followed by parents consist of knowing the correct age of training. It is generally at the age of 4 to 5 months that the child can take to toilet training procedures. Firstly, parents must be careful in removing any fear associated with toilet training from the child. He or she needs to be taken to a desirable place and the mother is expected to make a sound of “sss” or “peee” to get the child used to the sound. So, whenever the child hears the sound later on, he or she would get the cue. The child generally takes some time to get used to this kind of training, but responds well with time.
Parents should not be impatient with their children while imparting toilet training skills. One of the tips to early potty training is not to pressurize the child if he has missed a particular timing because children generally do not follow any fixed timings. The most efficient tool for early potty training is a potty seat or attachment seat that can be fixed in the toilet. The child should get used to sitting on the seats. Parents can teach them the perfect way of sitting on it and explaining how to get control over their bodies. Their feet must touch the ground for putting maximum pressure on the rectal muscles that facilitate bowel movement.
The daily tips to early potty training also helps mothers in gauging the possible signs that indicates the child’s eagerness to go to the toilet. Squatting and crossing of legs, grabbing the diaper, grunting or retreating to some corner may be some signs that parents should look out for. Once they are familiar with these signs, potty chairs and training pants can prove to be effective tools. After this children can be taught about the sounds or ways of letting the others know about their desire to go to the toilet. Therefore, understanding between parents and children is the key to early potty training.

Potty Training is something that becomes a nightmare to the parents especially to them who are busy. Being adults, the parents forget the days when they were trained to potty and thereby, get confused of how to develop this good habit of using toilets among their babies. It has been found that in most cases, painless training of using toilet gives result to a confusing war between the baby and the parents. But before the parents start the Potty Training or make the baby develop the habit of using toilet, they must understand that the baby requires being physically as well as psychologically fit to understand this complicated process.
Unless the baby is at least eighteen months old, Potty Training is impossible as before that, the neuromuscular system of the child remains still immature to master the command performance of toileting. It takes a few months for the baby to understand the relation between feeling wet and going to toilet. The moment the baby starts feeling uncomfortable with dirty diapers, start his toilet training for it is the high tie when you can succeed with a painless method. The habit of using toilet includes a long process of going to toilet, pulling the pants down and then using it. You may start the habit when your baby is two and a half years old by holding him to the toilet, pulling his pants down and then making him sit their while explaining the full process to him.
It has been shown in some recent surveys that the girls adopt painless Potty Training earlier that the boys do. However the earliest step demands the quick decision of choosing between potty chair and standard toilet for your baby. You can make him accustomed to the standard toilet from the very first day as this will save you another labor of shifting to this from potty chair. During earlier days, you can take him or her to the standard toilet during the potty time and pull his pants. Then make him sit there while encouraging as well as convincing him that it is his high time for the potty. Sometimes you can also run water in the sink with your baby sitting in the toilet to make him urinate. Always remember to make him feel fun while Potty Training as it will reduce the pain for both of you.
Never try to force your child sitting in the toilet during Potty Training if nothing happens. Sometimes the child makes accidents minutes after they come out of the toilet while doing nothing in the toilet. Handle the cases softly and try to understand the child’s age is not fit for full sensation. In these cases, behave naturally and tell your child to try its luck next time. The moment the child gets success in toilet encourage him by clapping and hugging but never try to gift him for a natural process.
