The wedge works better by itself

Although I'm not extremely big yet, I wanted to try to get a pillow so I could get used to sleeping on my side (I'm normally a back sleeper).

I'm in my 4th month and just bought this pillow. The first couple nights, I tried it as the picture suggested. But I found that it wasn't staying the way it was supposed to, and it just wasn't comfortable.

Then, a couple of nights ago, I just took the larger of the two wedges, and put that behind my back as I laid on my side. I made sure my shoulder was comfortable, by adding an extra pillow under my head. And ever since I tried this configuration, I have been sleeping much better. I think this is working for me, because since I am a back sleeper normally, this kind of feels similar to what I'm used to, with the wedge on my back.

Also, the past month or so, I've been waking up with pretty bad lower back pain, but ever since I started using the wedge behind my back, I have had almost no back pain.

I would recommend this to anyone who is having trouble sleeping on their side and/or is waking up with back pain.

I debated last weekend whether to buy this, a Snoogle, or a Boppy maternity pillow. I'm 30 weeks pregnant and have been having trouble getting comfortable at night for weeks (months?). I really didn't want to spend the money that the Snoogle and Boppy required since I only have 10 weeks left, so I went with this. Plus, for me, I needed back/stomach/hip support more than a pillow to go between my knees or under my head. This was much more appropriate for the discomfort I was dealing with.

The Rest EZ provides EXCELLENT support for my stomach/hips/back, just as I'd hoped. I use the pillow down at my hip/lower back area, and the weight of my growing stomach on the front wedge, along with my body weight in general, pull the back wedge tight against my back, giving the support I need. I feel like that whole region of my body is being cradled, and it's wonderful. The one major drawback I will mention is that turning over in the night can be awkward. I'm not willing to flip the whole contraption when I switch sides, so I just keep it as it is. The backrest portion is surprisingly comfy for my stomach, but definitely not preferable. I wish there were a way to have it accomodate the position change better. I often find myself sleeping on one side the whole night through because in my sleep-state I just don't want to deal with trying to roll over in the thing.

Overall, this is the best maternity purchase I've made so far. I will definitely recommend it or loan it to all my friends as soon as they join us on the baby bandwagon. :)

Love this pillow!

I bought this pillow a month ago, and have been sleeping great ever since! I am 5 months pregnant, and had been sleeping with a regular pillow under my belly until i purchased this product. I am petite so i was always having to lift my belly to set it on the regular pillow, and i could feel my round ligaments cramping up. I haven't woken up with discomfort or pain since using this pillow! It keeps me from rolling on my back and is very comfortable to sleep on. I don't have any complaints with this product. However, i can see how it could be a problem for someone who tosses and turns at night, or for someone on the larger side, it may have enough back support.

Helpful, but not a miracle

The Rest EZ II Pregnancy Wedge has given me an hour or two of extra sleep when I feel the need to use it. I didn't really think it was going to work very well, but it provides a nice support system for your back and belly while sleeping on your side. The only problem I have with it is not being able to reposition myself easily or get out of bed easily when I am using it. So I usually end up throwing it onto the floor midway through the night so I can move around better.

Even so, I would recommend this product because it has helped me get into a very comfortable position to fall asleep in... and I am getting up to go to the bathroom several times a night anyway, so it's not like removing the wedge is causing a sleep disturbance.

Sleep Saver!

I bought this pillow because I figured "why not?".
Best purchase I made!
I've been using it for two months now... I'm finishing my sixth.
It keeps me in position throughout the entire night! Since I don't move around anymore I don't put pressure on my bladder and I don't get up 4 times a night to pee anymore!
I definitely recommend it!
The only thing is I wish they had velcro at the closure because I find the cover shifts a bit.
