Great potty seat
by K. Gerber 2008-07-22
The reason I like this one is because it's really padded and potty training kids tend to sit there a really long time. The size of the opening is fine for my kids all the way up until they could handle the toilet without a potty seat (around age 3 for us). Actually, I have found others to have a smaller opening and that doesn't result in good things.
The one con to this seat is it can leak where the seat attaches to the splash guard. This has happened on two of ours so far. That's easily fixed with caulk if you don't mind dealing with it. Or you can not bother with it, but it makes for a little bit of a mess at times.
Mainly I recommend it because it is ultra padded and comfy for the little ones.

good product
by Eustace C 2008-05-30
purchased two of these. Pros: very comfortable for the children to sit for long periods of time. my toddlers put on and take off themselves. neutral color. easy to clean. Cons: on one seat the handle ring broke off within 8 months. seat stains can only be removed with bleach - otherwise all stains show fast. no side handles for child to hold onto or back for child to lean against. it just sits on toiler seat - no latching. Overall: my girls have no problem with it and recommend this product over all other seats. I clean it often b/c it is white - which is probably good.

Too small for big kids & moves
by Mom2BE 2008-02-24
I bought this because of the good reviews here. Nice soft padded seat, but it's too small & unstable for an oval seat. It looks oval in the pic, but it's more round then oval in person. It is VERY small compared to other soft seats out there.
I think this would be great for kids under age 2 that you were placing on the potty, but my son at 3 is too big & no way would I let him get on it independently. I also would not let him sit on it without my being right there. It's very wobbly. I will spare the details by just saying the hole is too small for all things to fit through :)
I found a 3-1 potty with a removable soft seat that is working better for us now.
In summary. Perhaps good for a girl who is small & will have a mom holding her on it.

great potty seat
by 2008-02-09
this is a great product, although is probably better suited for older children or kids who are already well on their way to potty training. not the best way to start potty training. my 2yr old is not in the least interested in potty training but i tried it anyway. she likes sitting on the potty seat but it is hard for her to get on and off and since she is not actively potty training i'm not using pull ups and diapers are a pain to get off and on while trying to help her on the potty. overall a good product just too "advanced" for us now.

great product
by aimee georgitsis 2007-04-06
This product is great! my daughter (29 months) loved it at first glance. The duckies are cute and the size is perfect. It is a cushie seat that is secure and comfortable. She won't use any other toilet. I also have the first years' seat with the handles on the sides, but this one is far superior. The First Years one was about the same price, but the foam part is flimsy and separates easily from the base, and it does not stay put- once my daughter even fell in to the toilet water from shifting her weight around on it! This seat is a great value, and it also has a nice hook that you can put on the wall for quick switches from potty to adult toilet.
