Size may be an issue
by Katie Blanton 2008-10-31
Cloth diapering a newborn can be a little difficult. These state you can use them at 5 lbs, but I didn't feel they fit well until my baby was at least 8 lbs. Even at 8 lbs I am doing some more folding. Anything smaller, the diaper was too bulky, and it was hard to make it tight enough around the legs. EVERYTHING leaked! Now, at 8 lbs, it's much better. So, watch the size!
I do enjoy the countour aspect of the diaper, and the material seems to keep my lil one dry.

not what i expected
by Linsay A. Brown-narvaez 2007-10-18
the contour diapers seem like a good idea, but like prefold diapers you still need an insert to keep your baby even remotely dry. Unfortuntely these diapers are so small, the insert doesn't quite fit right and sticks out a bitup top. This would still be okay, however my baby couldn't fit into the contours with or without an insert beyond 11 lbs. you can't believe the numbers 5-20lbs.

Excellent Diapers!
by Kajira 2006-09-17
They are soft and pretty colors. Very absorbant. I started off with prefolds and covers and moved on to contours. MY baby has had chubby legs from day one and these leave no red marks... As some of the fitteds tended too.. I love to use these, they are fun and easy to use. I have no problems with the Snappi and these. Sometimes I even let her run around without a cover and just the kissaluv and snappi. Pretty reasonably priced. Easy to wash and dry. They do tend to get folded up in the dryer, so I go in midway and unfold them and continue to run the dryer and they work well. Excellent fit. I use the med/large ones on my 24 pound baby. She was able to fit into the small ones even until she was about 20 pounds. A close fit, but they fit. The med/ large ones are a better fit for her. They are nice and trim and you can use them inside a pocket diaper too. I would use them again...
I would recommend these any day...

We love these!
by N. Trobare 2006-07-10
These are both Mommy & Daddy approved cloth diapers! Dad loves how easy these are to put on and figure out - no folding techniques, no guess work. Just fold over and use a snappi or pins and throw on a cover. Many times we don't even use fasteners on our more snug fitting covers.
They are soft, absorbant and dry in a relatively short amount of time compared to others I have tried. They include a doubler with a single seam design to cut down on drying time.
We love these!

Wonderful!
by Grass Tiger 2005-11-04
These are wonderful! When you first get them the are thick and fluffy - so soft! After some washes (in Washing Soda and Borax) I found that mine aren't as soft, but they are still very nice. They are thick. My baby is a heavy wetter and rarely soaks all the way through these.
The picture on this website makes it look like the front of the diaper isn't contoured, but it is. It is just not as wide in the front as in the back, as it should be. If you like you can just use these with a pin on either side and they'd work great without anything else, though there is no elastic to prevent leaks out the side and the outside would get damp.
You also can't tell from the picture that there is a rectangular doubler sewn into the inside of these - with one line of stitching right down the center to hold it in place. It is the full length of the diaper. I think I would have rather had it stitched on both sides so one side wouldn't accidentally get folded over the wrong way, but then perhaps that would have caused bunching problems.
I use the Bummis Super Whisper Wrap diaper covers with these and they fit perfectly.
I have no complaints. After numerous washings they haven't started to fall apart like some others do. I really like them.
