Not Good...

Worked for about 2 weeks. Somedays it would work and others it died. The finally KO was when it slipped out of my daughters hands in to the sink (about 8 inches of a fall). Then it did not work. I do not recommend this item

Good idea, bad design. Into the garbage it went after 1 month.

I was excited to use this product as they seemed to have covered all the bases with the massager and soothing brush for your young child. However, without fail, the brush head continued to fall off from the base as it doesn't have a secure enough 'lock and hold' position. This could easily end up coming off and choking a child who is not being supervised. Even with the slightest and most gentle brushing, any turns you do can 'unlock' it from it's base which is so annoying.

Summer Infant Gentle Vibrations Massager And Toothbrush My daughter really loves this toothbrush because it massages her gums and it looks just like Mom and Dad's Sonicare. Unfortunately we have been extremely disappointed in the quality of the product. First, parts of the gum massager end came off. I found one of the nubby pieces in my daughter's mouth and thought it must be time to switch to the "real" tootbrush head. We used it once after that and it stopped working. It's a great product but it's not made very well at all.

I bought this toothbrush for my 18 month old son just a few months ago. I found it to be great to teach him how to brush his own teeth. We do not let him walk around or brush his teeth unattended since anything can happen with a toddler. I did find the bristles of the brush wear down rather quick, but my son loves to have his teeth brushed just like mommy and daddy. I just wish the store we bought it from would sell the replacement heads. I would recommend this product to anyone.

i am compelled to write and warn other parents about this garbage product.

about a month ago, i purchased one of these "gentle gum massagers" as i have a teething baby.

when i opened the package in the parking lot, i noticed immediately that the entire top of the unit was wobbly and ill-constructed, so much so that there was about an inch of sway at the tip of said component. i remarked to my husband that this particular one was put together shabbily and i went directly back into the store to exchange it.

upon coming out the SECOND time and unwrapping the SECOND product, i noticed that it still had substantial sway, but i thought maybe it could be fixed and fired it up.

of course, this piece of garbage only massages intermittently, turning on and off every few seconds and further adding to my infant's frustration.

this is not the best part.

after a few days' use, i inspected this product again and noticed that the rubber bristles on one side had been 1/2 chewed off by my baby.

are you kidding?

a product that has supposedly been tested on and for infants that can easily have parts chewed off by a baby? i do not believe that this product was adequately tested, nor do i believe that the company is ignorant of its inferior construction. and yes, i am angry at money-grubbing entities that put out products such as this for our families.

summer infant should be ashamed.

my next stop tonight? every review page i can find on which i can post a negative review about this crap product - along with pictures, of course.
