Terrific Toddler Chair!

We love this chair! Our son (20 months) can finally sit right at the table with us, and he is always excited to sit in his "big boy chair." The chair is sturdy, looks great and is very easy to clean. I wish we had ordered it sooner!

the perfect transition from high chair to booster

I bought this chair for my 18-month-old. We wanted to move him out of a high chair and into something that could be easily pulled up to our dining room table. This chair works perfectly! He was not ready to be in a booster - needed to be strapped in lest he constantly try to climb down during dinner - but is big enough to eat with a plate at the table. The chair allows us to do that. When the seat is raised all the way up - which my son needs in order to reach his food and eat comfortably - it can be hard lowering him into it. The space between the curved bar in front and the top seat is not overly generous. However, as long as we take his shoes off, we can wedge him in. :-) We don't need to buckle the strap either. Best of all, the chair matches our cherry table perfectly!

Economical alternative to the Stokke KinderZeat Tripp Trapp

This is a well made alternative to the very expensive Stokke chairs. It works on the same principles but includes plastic knobs for adjustments - so you don't have to mess with the allen wrench. We never even installed the lap bar and took the saftey straps off right away. Our 6 yr old feels like a big girl - no more figetting and complaining when sitting at the table!

I can't figure out if it was made in Germany (where the company is based) or in Virginia - the address on the original box. It usually says made in XYZ, but it didn't.

Also, we got the Junior Pad-Orange (Mouse Print) for $9.99, a great value over the other colors going for $25.99!
