I used these bottles 17 years ago
by ondway 2010-08-31
I ran across these bottles 17 years ago at Toys R Us. I was intrigued by the concept, so I bought one to try out. What a life saver. I never had a problem with it at all. I would sit my son in his carrier while I was cooking dinner, and he would have his bottle. It was really great to have these when we went out to eat.
When I took him in for a well baby checkup he was plugged in (as I would say), and his Dr. was amazed. We didn't have anymore ear infections and no colic.
I am going to be a grandmother in January for the first time. Believe me, I am going to have a set for my home, and also buy a set for my daughter in-law to have. I am so glad to see that they are still available.

Frustrating! Not sure if I'll give it another shot!
by Msnehz 2010-03-26
I was excited to get this product. When I finally bought one, I could not make it work. Can't seem to "prime the nipple". When I squeeze the nipple, the milk only goes up halfway the tube that's inside the bottle. Tried it multiple times! Finally I went ahead and tried sucking the nipple myself to get the milk up the nipple, but the milk obviously just goes back down when there's no more suction. I went ahead and gave it another chance and had my 3 month old give the nipple a try. She could not suck the nipple strong enough for the milk to even leave the tube that's inside the bottle. After a couple of tries, I finally gave up and transfered the milk to a regular bottle and fed her the regular way. My daughter end up spitting up after she finished her bottle probably because of the air she ended up sucking from the Podee.
I really really wanted this product to work. I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong.

Can work but not the best
by H. Kopmeier 2010-02-15
I bought this item so my crying baby could feed while I was driving. After manipulating it several times I changed the nipple and did as others recommended and started the prime of the milk and placed the bottle at the top of the baby seat and it finally worked. Unless there is no alternative I would say this can be usable but it is awkward at best.

Great for people who can't be bothered to actually feed their own baby
by A Quiet Conscience 2010-01-05
This thing is great for moms and dads who have better things to do than actually take time to feed their own babies. The bottle handily attaches to anything nearby so you can watch TV in peace, play video games, write emails, or have some fun time with your spouse. Who needs Jr. getting in the way of what you need to do? The hanging bottle makes it possible for your child to be prone to ear infections and hey, they may even choke to death while eating since you're off doing whatever. The hands free bottle system gives parents a lovely false sense of security which replaces the boredom one feels while feeding their infant. Doctors don't recommend these contraptions, but who cares? You need YOU time. And YOU need that extra ten or fifteen minutes it would take to hold that baby bottle. Why spend time with your baby when you can show him or her what a nuisance their existence really is? If only they created ways for babies to prepare their own food, change their own diapers, and keep themselves entertained, you and your spouse might be able to have that great life and freedom you had before having a baby!

SAVE YOUR MONEY
by T.springer 2009-06-29
Piece of crap...I got this hoping on my stroller walks or all the driving I do, it would help feeding her when I really didnt have a chance or i would have to pull over or stop to feed. No such luck! This bottle is a piece of crap.
First issue-- My daughter could not keep the nipple on her mouth while trying to such. Luckly she is old enough where he learned to hold it on her mouth. (shes 8 months)
Second issue-- If the bottle is not elevated she would suck and suck and get nothing but air. The milk would make half way through the tube but would go back down with each suck release. The bottle must be elevated like an IV bag.
Third issue-- The nipple is too hard and the hole is weird which makes so much harder for my daughter to suck. I had to suck on it to try to get the milk as close as possible to the nipple. I had trouble myself!
I think i can stay here and make a long list why you should not waste your money on this bottle. Maybe the other one that the nipple is like pacifier and the bottle system looks a lot different would be better. But this particular one. NOT WORTH IT!
